Mission Statement: November 9th, 2011

Okay guys. It’s been awhile, but we have a bit of a news update. The paradigm has shifted a bit for the community in the past few months, as we have shifted away from TF2, L4D2, and a fair amount of steam games in lieu of a revival in. Our numbers had stagnated, but we have slowly been garnering attention with the success of our Battlefield 3 server and LoL matches. Our main focuses are still the same:

DONATIONS : We need money to keep the servers up.

RECRUITMENT : We need people to play with.

COMMUNITY FUN: Well, we are playing games..so let’s do it together.

VENTRILO: Well, it’s how the community communicates, makes sense that we are all on.

But without further adieu, these are going to be the main games the community will be focusing on for quite some time:

League of Legends

Yes, we’ve been playing a lot of this lately, and given that we have been working well as a cohesive unit, that is likely to continue. We haven’t given much thought to the competitive circuit and recruiting seems to be difficult for that game if you’re only going to be casual, but try anyway. Make an effort to get all public players on our ventrilo that seem to be good teammates. Improved numbers will only help us in the long run.

Battlefield 3

Yes, this game so far has been a lightning rod for the community. We’ve been slowing gaining platoon numbers, active ventrilo participants, and we have had a full server for days now. The community has been actively seeding our server and it has led to fantastic results. Don’t think that recruiting is an executive decision, we implore all of our members to aid in the recruitment process and fill our clan with as many good, vocal BF3 players as we can. If the DONATIONS keep up, we may end up boosting our 24 man slot up to a higher amount. Keep up the good work. If donations and recruitment keep up, we may be able to spring for a prize for a month’s top recruiter…or perhaps a tournament prize.

And for future considerations:

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Yes, this is going to be the community’s new MMO for the future. Maybe of our players are star wars fanatics as well as seasoned WoW players, so this transition should be healthy not only for the current community but for our prospective members. It is going to take a great, cohesive community effort to make our guild successful, but I know we can do it. For those of you in beta, please begin this process now. I’m hoping to get a recruitment contest upon release, so I will keep you posted.
